Thecnical Director

 

Andrew is the Technical Director of Kagitingan, aside from his passion in acting he devote his time in technical booth and behind production scene. His main role is to ensure that the technical equipment in the theater is functional, maintained and safe. As a technical director he is also responsible for the overall organization of the technical production process. His duties includes generating necessary working drawings for construction; budget estimations and maintaining of accounts; materials research and purchasing; scheduling and supervising build crews; coordinating put-ins; handling conflicts that arise between different departments; and organizing the strike and clean-up for that production.

 

As a Technical Director

he is also refer to as the in-house chief designer/master carpenter for a smaller theater company.
